Chief looks pretty adorable when he holds his front paw in front of his chest. But he's really trying to tell you that he is shy and fearful of new people and places. Just give him some time and some tasty treats, and he'll adore you and stick to you like glue. Born in 2008, Chief definitely prefers his human friends to other dogs. While he can have doggie friends outside of the home, he will do best as someone's only one. If you're willing to go slowly and be patient with him, Chief will be a wonderful friend.
